I FOUND MY ADAM, MY MAN FROM THE ADVENTIST DATING SITE

I found my “Adam” my best half, my man as the word of God says.

We met in the month of November.

In January, we exchanged phone numbers.

April would be our first meeting, but due to the pandemic, we presented our first meeting in June. It was perfect !!! On the second date, I went to the United states to meet the family of my fiance.

We talk every day. He was American and I was Brazilian, both of us did not speak the same language, but that was not a big problem ( i updated the voice translation application) because God chose each other and our connection was strong.

Thank you Jesus !!

Today we have seven days of marriage. We are happy and grateful to God and the Adventist Dating website.

I believe you run that Adventist Dating site. Thank you for helping me find my wife!! I was on another site but wanted a phone app. I installed yours thinking it was from the site I was on. After installing it I realized that it was different but decided to give it a try. When I got to the page with all the faces I saw a lady in the middle.

I clicked and sent her a message. We immediately hit it off. I went to Ukraine in January. She got a Visa to come to Canada in a day and now we are doing the paperwork for her to stay in Canada.

From Guyana to Costa Rica: A Love Story

It started when I signed up on the app in early March. I was talking with a few persons on the app; however, the responses were few and in between. However, I was still hopeful. I then narrowed my search to people from the Caribbean since that’s where I live. However, on that fateful day I saw a young lady who melted my heart at first sight. Her name is Joushelin, and she actually lived in Costa Rica. So I sent her a warm greeting, and she responded ??.

God was still working behind the scenes though, so we continued to talk until we moved to WhatsApp for more meaningful conversations. We then video called each other often and shared our desires and hopes in a future partner. Then I eventually asked her to be my girlfriend (via FaceTime, of course). Despite living in two different countries, our love for each other grew stronger and stronger. I then planned a trip to visit her since I lived in Guyana and she lived in Costa Rica. And in December of last year we met for the first time, and it was amazing! It’s like we knew each other for years! I then proposed to her before I left Costa Rica in December, and we eventually got married in August!

I was the member of Adventist Dating website since long. Here I was on the dating site on a free trial which was almost coming to a close and I had given up and was tired of talking to men.

Matthew had a profile pic which was not really appealing. Matthew came online to just delete his account because he couldn’t find anyone suitable, and at that point he saw my profile and messaged me before he deleted his account.

I had spoken to many guys on this site, but I had a few criteria to look for in a guy. He should be God-fearing and mission-minded. When I started speaking to Matthew, he was also looking for a God-fearing woman.

We said to each other to start reading the Bible every morning and evening and read Messages to Young Lovers, the Bible and other books. As we kept reading day in and day out, we could see that both of us were like-minded and we waited to read and pray together every day.

As we kept talking to God and talking to each other, we strongly felt the conviction that he is the one. We fell in love with God and with each other.

I flew to USA to meet Matthew and his family for the first time after dating for 10 months. Every day during my visit for 40 days, we woke up at 4 in the morning to pray and ask the Lord to direct our paths.

All I want to say is, keep praying unceasingly, don’t judge the book by its cover, invest more time on the Word of God than more time on searching who to marry.

This Adventist Dating site was a blessing to us. He made all things beautiful in His time. So wait on His time, God will surely reward and bless you.
